This is done in real time/immediately since it is based on the M-Pesa system. The conductor will confirm once the money hits his mpesa wallet and also a notification will be sent to you via SMS.

At SafiriSure, a Motisure Brand, we prioritize transparency and customer satisfaction. Our refund policy is designed to provide clarity and confidence when purchasing our travel insurance products. Below are the terms and conditions governing refunds for our travel insurance policies:
1. Eligibility for Refunds
Cooling-Off Period: Customers are entitled to a full refund if the cancellation request is made within 14 days of the policy purchase and no claims have been made, nor has the coverage period started.
Non-Refundable Situations: Refunds will not be provided if:
The coverage period has commenced, regardless of whether any claims have been made.
Claims have been initiated or paid under the policy.
The policy includes non-refundable add-ons or bespoke customization.
2. Refund Process
Request Submission: To request a refund, customers must submit a formal refund request via our customer service portal or email at support@motisure.com. Please include your policy number and proof of purchase.
Review Period: All refund requests are reviewed within 7 business days. Customers will be notified of the refund status via email.
Processing Time: Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days from the approval date and will be credited back to the original payment method.
3. Partial Refunds
Pro-Rated Refunds: If applicable, partial refunds may be offered for certain policies canceled before the coverage start date, minus any applicable administrative fees.
4. Administrative Fees
Refunds are subject to a KES 1000 administrative fee to cover processing costs.
5. Non-Refundable Services
Policies purchased for trips already commenced or completed.
Premiums for previously filed or approved claims.
Custom plans and non-standard add-ons specific to individual customer needs.
6. Special Circumstances
Emergency Cancellations: In exceptional cases such as a government advisory prohibiting travel to the insured destination or other uncontrollable events, a full or partial refund may be issued at the company’s discretion.
